December

It’s December now, no longer the wonderful month of November. However, I must continue writing this book before it drives me crazy, which probably wouldn’t be good. I hope you all are happy with how much you wrote, what you wrote, and such.

Now that I have my normal post-NaNo cold, I will now go away and read something. I’m excited. 

See you for Script Frenzy or for NaNo again. (However, I’m going to update here about Angels of the Apocalypse. If I ever finish it.) 

Today I have written 3k. I was going to aim for 4, but I really just don’t feel that good. I don’t know why, it might be because of all the crap I’ve eaten this month that was SO not healthy for me, but it’s probably just a cold. 

I think I’m going to go on a kind of detox the first couple days of December, because I feel like all I’ve been eating is crap.

I really, really need to finish this book. it’s driving me crazy. And I’m going to have to rewrite a lot of it later, but I can’t seem to care right now. I am just so tired and I have a cold and I want to be able to READ again. I barely have had time to like breathe. I would if I didn’t procrastinate, but I still seem to do so.

I’ve written a little over 2k today so far, which is already more then I wrote yesterday, but still need/want more. Then I’m taking a break the 1st week of December, maybe not the whole week, but I need to catch up a bit on my TBR pile and write some reviews. And catch up on some school work that I have been ignoring.

I have written 1.7k today. And then I got distracted by music. Damn, but it’s not even 1 yet. I should probably get food, too. NaNo always makes me forget to eat!

I wrote some yesterday, not a lot, but at least I wrote something. (I wrote 700 words). But since I’m already at 101k now, I might just try and make it to 111k, because why not? It’s a nice pretty number! Besides, I need to finish this story, it’s driving me completely crazy.

My stats have flatlined and I’ve reached the point, however, in writing this book where I’ve been dreaming about it. This was FINE with other novels and everything but… I’d rather not dream about different ways large amounts of people, normally including me, can be killed. It’s just… scary. It’s creepy when I wake up, and it’s not helpful! I can’t use any of these ideas my brain is generating to give me nightmares… Unless, I’ll figure it out.

But I haven’t written in a couple days because I had my 10k day and hit 100k and then I took the next day off because my wrists were NOT happy. And then they felt better but it was thanksgiving. And Friday/Saturday I went to see Starkid, we got back so late and I didn’t end up waking up until 2 in the afternoon. But today, TODAY I SHALL WRITE. Or be on Tumblr and watching Lord of the Rings like I’ve been doing (there’s been a huge marathon since I fell asleep last night).

Maybe I should sleep more. I guess I can sleep the afternoon away, I mean, it IS Sunday. Nothing important ever seems to happen on Sundays. … Right? 

I love when the little bar is all purple and happy! YAY! And the “WINNER” thing looks kind of weird this year. I mean not BAD weird, it’s just… I don’t know. I’m just going to stop talking now.

This is what my stats page and such currently looks like. Haven’t really written anything since passing 100k, but it’s been hard to even try with Thanksgiving and today going to Starkid.

Huh. Why does that say -1 words written today? I guess between word and the NaNo counter…

I don’t think I’ll get much written today. I mean, it’s already 6 and I’ve gotten nothing done today. But I think I’m okay with this at the time. I mean, I reached my goal of 100k, but I’d like to finish my second story.

THere’s a thread on the NaNo forums talking about why your book would get banned. (Not in any serious way, really, but saying why people would challenge the book.)

My books, all the ones I’m writing this month, would get banned to badly. Especially Angels of the Apocalypse. They’re very, not quite human angels, but they’re not stuck up assholes, either. They’re warriors but… That doesn’t mean they have no feelings. It’s been fun to play with.

Also, there is a joke about how god doesn’t care about gay people, the girl who is human says it, and the angel just shrugs and is like yeah whatever. I giggled as I wrote it, knowing it would make some people tear their hair out. Does that make me a horrible person? Maybe.

I’ve written 2,297/10,000. I want to write the 10k to get me up and a couple hundred words over 100k.
